Obama is Black or African American?

Obama is Black or African American?
The question is not mine, but has placed Bruno Vespa, when the night of November 4 has followed the counting for the election of the President of the United States of America.
Vespa has since settled the matter to consider in the direction of Obama's African-American, if I understand, for reasons of racism.
I also agree with those who say that November 4, 2008 arrived at the White House, the African American Obama, but I would have preferred that we had reached the black, even the negro Obama!
I'll try to explain.
Obama is the son of an African immigrant-skinned black woman and a white American nationality: he therefore belongs to the ranks of immigrants in the United States, to which also belong to the members of different immigrant communities, and among them was the Italian, Hispanic Chinese, Russian, etc. ..
He is a worthy, even when the most worthy representative of immigrants with their identity and their efforts have made the United States of America the largest and most powerful nation in the world: his election as President is truly a revolution for his country and the world.
But I, for the future, I look forward to an even bigger revolution, which, sooner or later, I am sure will come: the election for President of the United States of America a black man, that is a descendant of those Africans who were brought in chains in North America at the time of the slave trade.
Only then will we think that racism in America has been truly defeated.
So I think that would have been much more revolutionary and anti-racist if Bruno Vespa on the night of November 4 he could solve his dilemma with the announcement: "A black man in the White House"!
Not for nothing, and on Obama he poured copious vote of immigrant communities, such as Hispanic, as well as the young, the black vote, however, it seems that it was not so exclusively and decisively addressed to him.
This does not detract from the value of the election of Obama: It leaves room for further progress in this amazing country that is the United States of America.
In appendix let me say another concept of approaching the finish this story in the Italian American!
Here, unfortunately, there are politicians like Barack Obama and John McCain even like!
